In addition, TQI provides brokerage and 3PL services to customers in a variety of end markets. TQI has established itself as a best-in-class provider by focusing on providing the most secure, reliable, sophisticated temperature-controlled transportation solution available to transport highly-valuable, temperature-sensitive products.

TQI’s management team brings an average of over 25 years of industry experience which includes senior leadership positions at FedEx Customer Critical, Central Transport, and FedEx Caribbean Transportation Services prior to their involvement with TQI.

Thayer | Hidden Creek announces that it has acquired Group Transportation Services, Inc. (“GTS”). GTS is a non-asset based third party logistics provider offering a full suite of outsourced transportation management solutions. GTS currently focuses on over 3,000 middle market clients with annual freight spends under $10 million.

GTS is led by a highly-seasoned senior management team with an average of over 24 years of industry experience, including leadership positions at FedEx Logistics and BAX Global. With the management team’s guidance, GTS has developed a robust proprietary information technology system that is highly scalable and capable of handling all of a client’s transportation management needs. This system includes pricing, contract management, carrier selection, freight tracking, freight bill/payment/audit and dispatch.

Naumann / Hobbs Material Handlings, Inc. announces the acquisition of Hawthorne Lift Systems, a division of Hawthorne Machinery Company. Hawthorne Lift Systems is located in San Diego with additional facilities in Fontana and Coachella, California. The company is a full service material handling dealership that leases, sells and services a variety of electric and internal combustion forklifts and commercial products.

With contiguous footprints and similar strategies, the combined company will better serve major manufacturers as they continue to consolidate their dealer networks. The combination also has numerous, identifiable business transformation opportunities including improved asset velocity and utilization and inventory management.
