HCI Equity Partners announces that Naumann Hobbs Material Handling successfully completed a significant refinancing. As part of the transaction, the Company raised $53 million in total committed financing ($48 million drawn). The refinancing was led by Fifth Third Bank, who provided the senior financing while $11 million of subordinated financing was raised from Graycliff Capital Partners.

HCI Equity Partners announces its acquisition of Total Container Group, Inc., a leading provider of reconditioned bulk liquid containers, tank washing, and other related products and services.
Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio with facilities in Fontana, California and Savannah, Georgia, Total Container Group is primarily involved in the reconditioning, servicing, and sale of plastic composite intermediate bulk containers (or “IBCs”) used to transport bulk liquids in a variety of industries. The company also provides a growing suite of other services to the bulk liquid container industry, including tanker truck and ISO container washing and steel IBC service and rental.

HCI Equity Partners announces that Herndon Products, Inc. has acquired Intercoastal, Inc. Intercoastal, headquartered in Kent, Washington, is a distributor of consumable components to the international aerospace industry. For over 40 years it has supplied aerospace OEMs (primarily Boeing) and Tier 1 subcontractors with a wide variety of fasteners, clamps, grommets, hinges, and fittings. Importantly, Intercoastal possesses the coveted status as a Boeing D1-4426 authorized supplier, as well as 15 valuable authorized distributorships (12 of which are incremental to Herndon).
Intercoastal represents an attractive complimentary platform for Herndon. Specifically, the combination creates a more attractive business with a higher intrinsic value due to increased scale, enhanced diversification, and overall growth potential. Furthermore, management believes there is significant synergy opportunity through access to 12 incremental authorized distributorships which Intercoastal possesses.

A&A Express, based in Brandon, South Dakota, provides truckload services. A&A transports primarily refrigerated product throughout the United States utilizing a combination of independent contractors and employee drivers.
Central Cal Transportation, based in Northern California, provides intermodal transportation and related services. Central Cal transports primarily nuts, wine, and retail import products.

HVH primarily provides dry van truckload services throughout the Midwest, Southwest, and Western states. HVH is known for its excellent customer service utilizing a base of 270 independent contractors, many of whom have had a long relationship with the Company.

EFS is a regional overnight less-than-truckload (LTL) provider based in Kenosha, Wisconsin. EFS has 12 terminal locations throughout the upper Midwest, which enables it to provide customized, overnight service to its customers.

R&M and Sortino are providers of truckload services based in Omaha, Nebraska. They transport primarily refrigerated product throughout the United States utilizing a combination of independent contractors and a fleet of company-owned trailers.
